BOSE Media System Demo
View Website »Ferrari developed one of the finest 12-cylinder automobiles in the world with the 612 Scaglietti coupe, and was seeking to include the finest media system in it. Bose Corporation had been developing a multi-functional automobile “infotainment” system that integrates ingenious usability with superb sound; they needed to create a hands-on demo unit installed in a mock car’s dashboard to demonstrate the product to Ferrari. Queue squareFACTOR, who was retained by the Bose design team to develop a top-secret proof-of-concept demo that emulates the dynamically animated user-interface that is elegantly controlled by only two radio knobs. The result was a stunning approximation of the Bose Media System, which features eight media components and GPS navigation. Because of that demo, Ferrari now includes the Bose Media System as standard in each of its highly-touted 612 Scaglietti. We shaped the animated product demo, contextual user-interface, and interactive prototype unit—and then some—which has Ferrari singing praises of the Bose Media System.
